Do you have a new puppy in your house? Getting a good start to socialization and helping them to explore and understand this world we share together is critical. It’s so important to help our young puppies get an understand of what’s expected of them and to learn how to socialize them to different sights, sounds and surfaces. Helping puppies to define their world before their 16 weeks old is very important as well as helping to create a lasting connection and bond with each other.
Would you like a puppy who:
• Listens to you
• Has good manners
• Gets along well with other dogs and people
• Is confident in new environments
• Loves to learn
Our puppy class uses positive methods to teach your puppy foundation skills that will be useful for his entire life. During the five-week session your puppy will be socialized to a variety of different sights, sounds, smells and people. We will discuss typical puppy behavior issues (for example, mouthing, housebreaking, destructiveness), teach you and your puppy skills that will prevent future behavior problems, and instill a strong foundation for learning life-skills. Each week has a different theme (manners at home, visiting the vet/groomer, out for a walk, self-control, off-leash control) to give your puppy a strong foundation.
Our Five Week Classes will be held at our Edwardsville location:
